Erica SchoenbergErica Schoenberg is a professional poker player born in Akron, the fifth biggest city of Ohio, US. This blackjack player was also a personal trainer, ex-model, and a qualified volley ball player.

Schoenberg obtained expert blackjack schooling from MIT Blackjack Team member. She went on to contend in World Series of Blackjack and got a 2nd position finished in her chapter thereby revealing that her preparation in spades paid off.

Schoenberg always had an innate aptitude for numbers and quickly got herself absorbed into the fascinating world of Poker. Even though blackjack continued to be her fervor, it didn’t take much time for Schoenberg to decide on Hold’em s her innovative sport of option. In the later part of year 2005, she began to fully commit to the poker game. She contested in the local games with her associates that comprised of Phil Hellmuth.

Schoenberg made her primary main tournament emergence in Five-Star World Poker Classic in 2006. In that year, she topped with a 5th position finish in the five Diamond World Poker Classic. She stormed into the live poker arena by securing the sixteenth place in the $25,000 WPT (World Poker Tour) Championship – No Limit Texas hold’em and the third place in the $1,500 No Limit hold’em in WPT (World Poker Tour) held in 2007. Schoenberg also made her appearance alongside with fellow poker player, Jenifer Tilly and 4 other female participants. She succeeded in the $2,500 No Limit Hold’em Mandalay Bay Poker Championship securing prize money of $105,875. Schoenberg also took part in the ten week televised series known as Ultimate Blackjack Tour, which was aired on CBS. She also had a sponsorship accord with the online poker card room, Full tilt poker.

As on year 2011, the total winnings of Schoenberg surpassed $750,000.  She is wedded to Erick A. Lindgren, a professional poker player.

Even though mainly to poker, Schoenberg commits her endeavors, and never has forgotten her blackjack ancestry. She is nicknamed as the “Poker Babe”.

This experienced and proficient poker player also provide valuable tips to the budding poker player. She says that the solution in succeeding a tournament is to manage the ups & downs. She says it requires a lot of patience, when one is short stacked.  In order to recover She says she will not let the preceding hands to bother her. On the other hand she says she will prefer to tighten up prior to losing a pot and then regrouping.

Apart from playing live poker tourneys or black jack tournaments, she enjoys spending her time with her family, with her fiancée, or at the Full tilt poker playing online.

With her patience and serene approach, Erica Schoenberg has etched a place in the Poker arena.
