2012 Poker Tournament Season To Resume In August

There are several poker tournaments that are scheduled to be hosted in the month of August. August this tear will begin with the World Poker Tour back into action with its Season XI tournament. The WPT Merit Cyprus Classic has scheduled the games to run through August 4-9 at the Merit Crystal Cove Hotel and Casino with a $4000 buy in tournament.
Soon after the Cyprus event, the WPT will be making its first stop in the United States. While the opening WPT Parx Open Poker Classic will run through August 10-15 at the Parx Casino in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. It will also be making an official WPT stop with a $3500 buy in tournament. The entire event will be a broadcasted on the 2012 WPT television schedule.
In the last week of August, the WPT will be featuring its annual pilgrimage to the Bicycle Casino in Los Angeles for the 2012 Legends of Poker. The tournament will run through August 24-29 with $3700 buy in featuring the final table in the 2012 WPT television season.
After a very successful Season Eight, European Poker Tour officials, instead of adding events, completely chopped off their touring schedule and reduced its numbers also. Earlier, the EPT planned many small stops to run their Main Events around the European continent.
The EPT will begin its schedule from August 15 touringBarcelona,Spainand the Casino de Barcelona. The EPT will feature four days of preliminary tournaments with the Main Event, and a €5000 entry event with two Day Ones. Additionally, “High Roller” tournament and a Heads Up championship will also be there in the EPT. Further, the EPT will take a break and resume its action from October 3-11 inSan Remo,Italy, for their next €5000 Main Event.
This year, the WSOP Circuit has delayed its schedule which is generally announced during the last week of the WSOP Championship Event. Because of uncertainty about few stops, the delayed scheduled is expected to be announced in this week.
The WSOPC will kick off with its action from August 9-20 at the Imperial Palace Casino Resort and Spa inBiloxi,Mississippiwith twelve WSOPC rings up for grabs. The $1500 Main Event will also be featuring two Day Ones, with the re-entry option for those who faced elimination on Day 1A. However, the Heartland Poker Tour tournament has already been going on in Albuquerque, New Mexico, at the Route 66 Casino with its Season Eight schedule. After the tournament ends on July 29, the HPT will be taking a small break. The next tournament, at the Golden Gate Casino in Black Hawk, Colorado, will begin from September 3.
