In poker, you can be anyone and start from any profession if you want good money and worldwide recognition. The statement does not hold true for everyone, but selected people who love to play this game and make it their priority. Bill Edler, who studied law, is one among such people.
Bill was graduating from the University of California with a law degree and his first encounter with poker happened to be right when the exams were to be held. Poker fascinated him and captivated his interest to such an extent that he planned of quitting his examinations as he no longer felt any interest in studying. His mind was rather wandering in the poker circuit.
Bill discontinued his law studies and got a place for himself at the casino San Pablo, which is located near San Francisco. He became the poker room manager, which he later confessed was his dream job because he was very much satisfied from this work. He got engaged in a lot of poker games here and bettered his ranking and earned a lot of money as well.
In the year 2005, his reputation scaled new level as he participated in the World Series of Poker along with some of the biggest names in the poker circuit. He was not intimidated by the players who were a part of the circuit rather he took up the challenge and gave in his best. He managed to make two cashes at the World Series of Poker and his reputation increased dramatically in just few days. The 2005 WSOP was extremely lucky for him as his career soon became much more interesting and he reserved frequent mention in the poker industry.
He got inspirations from his own victories and his appetite and hunger for poker victories only fuelled his desire even more. He participated in big tournaments and in 2006 again, he managed to be fairly successful. In the year 2006, he got the fifth place in the final table which is definitely worth a round of applause.
2007 was even better as he finished at the record 13th place at the World Poker Tour Boragta Winter Open. There are a lot of tournaments where he managed to be extremely successful and thus he managed to establish himself as one of the most dazzling stars of poker.
He has a doting wife and he attributes his huge success to her. Bill Edler is one person who could churn money from a game; he is even good at it.
